A politician worthy of the name has a moral obligation (because legally this is not true) to withdraw from public life if charged, as a matter of opinion and / or punished for deeds and misdeeds committed by him.
A politician who works in the service of the Italian State can not deny the essence of the first, namely the legitimacy of the Italian state itself.
A politician's task is to protect the citizens it represents (his employer) and to set an example as a public figure. He must therefore be put before all else the education and respect for every person, whether of sex, religion, color political, nationality, origin on Italian soil, etc. ... other than their own.
A politician must comply with its duties, which are few and not easy.
Personally, I do not see how it could be argued that, following axioms written-up, the members of the Northern League are politicians.
- The official website of the Northern League is written in large letters: "For the independence of Padania! This is because, for the uninitiated, the full name of the party is "Northern League for the Independence of Padania." How can so-called "political" of the Italian Republic to support the secession of Italy? For me it is inconceivable and this would be enough to ITALIAN throw them out of Parliament.
